I am surprised that there isn't a single post regarding personal finance. Although I disagree with Suzy Orman on many issues, I feel strongly about her emphasis on women being financially savvy. As a financial adviser, I often hear my colleagues (most of them men) recommending me talk to the husband - the decision maker on finance. Women have already taken a larger role in many aspects - car, house, renovation, kids' education, etc. I only encourage more of us taking an active role in financial planning - retirement planning, asset protection, education funding strategies. After all, without sound finance, how can we get that steam shower in the bathroom we've been eying for.
