Bottled Water Debate Splashes Congress

Environmental and consumer groups are urging closer scrutiny of bottled water as Congress begins to consider stricter labels that alert consumers about the source and potential environmental impact of the products.

I'm all for requiring labels that display information about the quality and source of the water inside...esp
if the stat quoted in the article is true! ("Close to 40% of bottled water sold in the U.S. comes from
municipal sources, the same place tap water comes from.")
bottled water is more about convenience than anything else... nobody really cares about the quality of the
tasteless water as long as it is not poisonous.
